Hi, and welcome to Hope! I'm Bill Walles, the founding Pastor of this great new church in the Lake Stevens area. My family and I lived in this area for several years before moving away for a few years, and we really missed it. So, when we were asked to consider starting a church anywhere in the Puget Sound area, we immediately wanted to start one here.
We are so excited to begin this church with a fantastic group of core leaders who have been praying for this and supporting it every step of the way. When you come to Hope for the first time you'll surely meet a number of these people and get an immediate sense of the community we're excited to help begin.

If you want to find out a little bit more about me, I'm married to the greatest woman in the world, and we have four amazing kids. This church start is the greatest journey we've ever taken together, and it's been a wild ride, but one we're certainly not ready to get off of yet. It's the ride of our life!
If you spend much time with me you'll find out I really love a few things. I love my family, and I'm always happy to tell you about their latest exploits and adventures. I love a great glass of wine, I love just about all movies, and I love Seattle sports, professional and college (Bring back our Sonics). But, most importantly, I love Jesus. I believe He is absolutely real, and 2000 years after he rose from the grave He still changes and transforms lives today. I'm humbled that He's called me to play a small part in building His Kingdom here in this time and place. And I'd love for you to be a part of that.
